7.3.9 Industrial Communication (fieldbus)

You can perform the setting of the industrial communication (fieldbus) to use it.

  1. Depending on the type of the communication to use, you need to install a PCI card and then set the slot number (1 to 4) by referring to the “Hi6 Controller Maintenance Manual”.

  2. Set the industrial communication firmware by referring to “7.3.9.1 Firmware Setting”.

  3. Turn off the power of the controller, and then turn it back on.

  4. If necessary, carry out additional setting by referring to “7.3.9.2 Industrial Communication Setting”.
